Deschutes River Conservancy's Race for the River

Grab your paddle-boards, canoes, kayaks, rafts, floaties, friends and dogs to support the DRC by participating in the First Annual Race for the River!

Join us down on the river on Saturday, August 7 from 10a.m. - 4p.m. in Riverbend Park where participants will race down the river to the Les Schwab Amphitheatre. Race categories include: stand-up paddle board, kayak, canoe, raft, floaties, race with your dog, open swim and corporate teams.

Fabulous prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and the entire community is invited to join in the fun at the Old Mill Central Plaza. Enjoy live music from Little Fish and Brent Alan and His Funky Friends while sipping on a specially crafted DRC beer from the Deschutes Brewery. Taste great food from local vendors and learn about our local watershed with a variety of interactive activities for the whole family. This is an event you won't want to miss out on!

Race fees:

$15 per person
$20 with your dog*
$50 corporate teams (5-6 people)

*Ruff Wear will be giving away Float Coats for all participants entering with their dogs!
