Jim Witty wrote the “Outing” column for the daily newspaper in Bend, Oregon for many years. In his articles, Jim took his readers with him on the trails, lakes, rivers and mountains of central Oregon. After Jim's untimely death in 2008, family and friends finished a project that he had been working on for years ... and published a book of his articles.
